Espace Strymes officially inaugurated

17 August 2026

In Rendeux, a project led by the local Public Social Welfare Centre (CPAS) has come to life: Espace Strymes has opened its doors.

The programme brings together eight homes for older people, including three fully adapted for people with reduced mobility, as well as the renovation of the Maison Strymes into two additional homes. The project also includes a community room, a local produce shop, a solidarity ironing area and a public intergenerational square.
Each space has been designed to foster connections, just a stone’s throw from the Ourthe River.

More than just a real estate project, Espace Strymes is a genuine place designed for ageing well, carefully integrated into its surrounding landscape.
