At the award ceremony of the 2025 edition of the Grand Prix d’Architecture de Wallonie, organised by the Union wallonne des Architectes, we had the great honour of seeing our Esplanade Batta redevelopment project in Huy awarded in the category Artworks and Public Space Developments.
This project aimed to transform an area previously dedicated to traffic and parking into a multifunctional, landscaped public esplanade, placing an emphasis on soft and active mobility.
The international jury praised the coherence of the project, the quality of its design, and its ability to clearly express a strong ambition: to place public space, civic uses and quality of life back at the heart of urban decision-making.
In doing so, the jury recognised our approach and vision, thereby rewarding the work of our entire team.
We also extend our congratulations to all the other winners of this eighth edition of the Grand Prix, which highlighted many outstanding architectural achievements across Wallonia.
