Located close to Visé, the Lanaye Spawning Ground is a magnificent body of water within a Natura 2000 classified site. For this project, our intervention aimed to equip this unique natural space with an educational and observation trail. This would allow the general public to discover the fauna and flora of the Spawning Ground while respecting the tranquility of the area.
The various facilities developed include a relaxation and contemplation area, an immersive trail with its waterside platforms, a bird observatory, and several educational panels to raise awareness about nature and the animals of the Lanaye Spawning Ground.
Regarding materials, all facilities were constructed using Walloon wood, while the railings of the observation platforms are made of Cor-Ten steel.
This project is part of the Wallonia Recovery Plan.
