Renovation of the ground floor of the Nassogne municipal administration.
The concept of this project was to soften a building that was originally very square and dark, using curves and lighter tones.
With the aim of bringing light indoors and creating comfortable spaces, white was chosen as the main color for the walls and acoustic ceilings. The poured-in-place terrazzo floor is also white with touches of green and brown.
The new furniture elements were custom-designed. The curved counters (reception, urban planning, and civil registry) and the staircase partition are made of oak to bring warmth and echo the many forests present in the municipality of Nassogne.
The benches in the hall for the citizens’ waiting area and in the council/wedding hall, also curved, are upholstered in fir green fabric for consistency with the wood.
