Presented last October, the Mix’cité project is making great strides!
Work is expected to start in early 2026 for an inauguration in 2027, as announced during the site visit by Yves Coppieters, the Walloon Minister for Social Economy.
As a reminder, once renovated, the former building of the Christian Mutual Society will include 14 social housing units and common areas dedicated to activities, local associations, and social economy stakeholders. The idea is to create a true living space where encounter and conviviality are fundamental values.
