Exhibition: NOIR Artist’s Paintings at UMAN

1 October 2026

From 1 October 2026 to 2 January 2027, UMAN architect is hosting the work of NOIR Artist in its offices. The Liège-based artistic duo has made its mark with murals in Paris, New York, Dubai and Singapore.

Many people know NOIR Artist for the murals adorning the façades of Liège, the “Fiery City”. This exhibition presents another side of their work: smaller-format paintings. They invite visitors to step closer and take a closer look at the brushwork and composition.

Rooted in urban culture, NOIR Artist’s work combines painting with interventions in public spaces. The duo creates images in which structures and figures coexist, sometimes human, sometimes animal, depending on the themes being explored. Their work evolves with each project, whether created in the studio or in public spaces, where they experiment with new visual combinations.

With this exhibition, UMAN continues the initiative it has been developing for several years as part of its Art & Architecture series. This is the fifth exhibition to be held at its offices. The architectural space becomes a platform for artistic creation, opening itself up to ambitious artistic worlds that engage in dialogue with the built environment.

The exhibition is open on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4 pm to 7 pm, and on Saturdays from 2 pm to 5 pm, by reservation only via Weezevent.
