In Grâce-Hollogne, six modular social housing units are taking shape above the underground parking structure of Les Églantines, with timber at the heart of the project.
Wood naturally emerged as the ideal material thanks to its many advantages: warmth, durability, speed of construction, and low waste generation on site. Its lightweight nature is also a decisive asset, allowing the buildings to be installed on the existing underground parking slab without structural constraints.
On the façades, wood-look panels, light tones, and a rhythm of slatted elements bring character and dynamism to the project, resulting in an ensemble that is contemporary, warm, and well integrated into the neighbourhood.
A project carried out for the Société du Logement de Grâce-Hollogne and the Société Wallonne du Logement, combining social commitment, residents’ comfort, and environmental responsibility.
